Little Ballerinas

I signed Eliza up for a ballet class through Tucson Parks and Rec. Her first class was on Sat. and she was adorable. She thought it was so funny that you didn't wear panties under your leotard, but just your tights. I heard her telling one of her fellow sunbeams about it on Sunday. She also wanted to be sure that Aunt Becca saw the pictures of her as a ballerina. So, here they are:

Kate isn't in the class since you had to be 3 by the end of May and her birthday isn't until July. She was heartbroken and so was I. When it came time for me to leave with Eliza, Kate tried to bolt for the van, but I caught her and tried to talk to her about it. She tried to charge through my hands and I had to pick her up kicking, screaming, and crying and have Daddy pry her off of me. It was so sad. She has a hard time seeing herself as being younger since the two of them do everything together. It will be good for Eliza since she is really craving one on one time with me and Nathaniel. I love to have time with just her as well and loved to watch her. She is such a beautiful girl. I love this mom thing!

Poor Kate! It's sad, because there won't ever really be any perks for being younger. There isn't really anything only she can do. I'm seeing that with Kale recently having the older two in Tee Ball and swimming lessons. He's never missed out on anything, so he's having a hard time understanding it. I hate it.

It always makes me feel old when my kids are old enough for stuff like that.
It's so fun to watch your child grow, succeed, and have so much fun.

Eliza is quite the model as well. That's so exciting for her. Also I wanted to tell you that my cousin karolee told me about a lady who teaches ballet here in Tucson. I think Kate and Hallie should do it. Karolee is going to give me her number. She said she charges $10 a month. And they have a recital at the end of the 10 weeks. She did ballet for byu apparently. Any way I'll tell you more when I know more. They may be too much though to have them going to seperate ballet classes. Extra trips etc.
