I could have kicked myself for not having candles. And this isn't the first or second time I have done this for my kids' birthdays. How hard is it to remember the candles? Apparently it's too much for me to remember. So, we have gotten well versed with the matches. It worked out really well for Tanner because the flame died before he had the chance to grab at it.
I just love our little guy. He is so sweet. His smile is my sunshine. I love his dimples. I love that his hair stands up like my brothers. I love how ticklish he is. I love his little hands and feet. And I love, loVE, LOVE, the way he lights up when he sees me. He is such a blessing in our family.

I love the picture right after the one where he puts it into his mouth. I love how he's got chocolate on his face and he's looking down at his cupcake. That look says to me "I can't believe there was life before you!" Oh maybe that's what I think when I see a chocolate cupcake. =)
He is so beautiful!!! Happy 1st Tanner. Nathan is a mini me version of Nathaniel! He certainly visually lives up to his name, unlike a cute redhead boy I know! : )
One year goes by too fast! He is such a cutie!
